China Today English Edition Highlights International Youth Entrepreneurs Alliance Meeting
Hong Wansheng, President of Nuclear Five Valves Group, Shares Industrial Achievements from Nan'an
[Reported by Liao Yegao, Tianxia Valve Business] Recently, the first issue of the 2025 English edition of China Today was officially published. The cover theme of this issue centers on “Win-Win Circulation,” with a special feature titled “Beijing Brainstorm,” spotlighting a global exchange event—the International Youth Entrepreneurs Alliance Working Conference.
Held in Beijing, the conference attracted representatives from over 20 countries and regions. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on key topics such as “How to balance friendly cooperation with healthy competition and jointly safeguard the stability of global industrial and supply chains,” contributing insights and strategies for coordinated global economic development.
Hong Wansheng Speaks on Behalf of Nan'an Valve Industry
At the conference, Hong Wansheng, President of Nuclear Five Valves Group from Nan'an, Fujian, was invited to deliver a speech, sharing the development achievements and practical experience of the local valve industry with global entrepreneurs.
He introduced Nan'an as a pioneer in China's valve sector. Over the past 40 years, supported by national policies and proactive local government efforts, the region has gradually built a complete and mature industrial ecosystem—forming a large-scale cluster of over 200 enterprises covering R&D, manufacturing, and supporting services, with strong industrial synergy.
Nan'an Valve Industry Integrated into Global Supply Chains
“The Nan'an valve industry has long been deeply integrated into the global supply chain system,” Hong emphasized. Local enterprises actively attract foreign investment and advanced technologies to enhance core competitiveness, while also “going global” by participating in international cooperation forums and trade exhibitions to expand overseas markets and strengthen brand influence.
Since the launch of the Belt and Road Initiative in 2013, China's overseas infrastructure projects in oil, gas, water treatment, and environmental protection have opened vast market opportunities for Nan'an’s valve industry. Export volumes have grown significantly, offering valuable paths for local enterprises to pursue internationalization.
