Senior Officers of the Chinese Navy Visit Nuclear Five Valve Group for Inspection and Guidance
On August 4, 2017, a delegation including Admiral Shen Bingyi (Vice Commander of the PLA Navy), Admiral Zhao Xingfa (former Vice Commander), Major General Duan Zhaoxian (former Deputy Chief of Staff), Major General Dai Xuecai (former Deputy Director of the Navy Equipment Department), and Major General Pi Guoyong (Deputy Chief of Staff of the East Sea Fleet, son of founding general Pi Dingjun), along with secretaries Zhou Chunbo and Zhu Zhichao, visited Nuclear Five Valve Group for a special inspection.
During the visit, the delegation toured the production workshops, assembly lines, and technical center, gaining a detailed understanding of the company’s manufacturing processes, equipment technologies, and R&D achievements. The officers highly praised the company’s breakthroughs in military valve development and innovation, emphasizing the importance of keeping scientific research at the core, increasing investment in R&D, and continuously enhancing core competitiveness. They also urged the company to thoroughly implement the key directives of General Secretary Xi Jinping, actively promote deep integration of military and civilian sectors, and strive to provide high-quality services for national defense projects, contributing to China’s military industry.
